Your appraisal district mails a Notice of Appraised Value every year. Send it over and we will tell you if it looks high.
Ryan or Kelsey researches the market, selects the comparables by hand, and prepares your strategy and report personally.
We set up your district account and file the protest. The county can accept, deny or counter, and we review whatever comes back.
We represent you at the informal hearing and, if needed, the formal hearing before the appraisal review board. You do not attend.
Anyone who presents a protest on your behalf must be a licensed Texas property tax consultant. We are.

May 15, or 30 days after your notice is mailed, whichever is later. Miss it and you generally lose that year, unless you can show good cause to the appraisal review board for a late protest.
Yes, if the home is your principal residence. A homestead exemption removes part of your home's value from taxation. The school district amount is now $140,000.
The owner must be an individual, not a business entity, and must use the home as a principal residence on January 1 of the tax year. Owners 65 or older have slightly different timing rules.
